Confluencias by Fernando Cabral
Confluencias explores how complex forms emerge through the convergence and accumulation of countless mathematical trajectories. Built from an iterative system of equations, autonomous lines trace paths that continuously overlap, intersect, and fold back into themselves. Through repetition and accumulation, these individual trajectories gradually transform into fluid, organic structures. In this series, color becomes an active part of the form. Rather than simply occupying an already defined structure, color gradually transitions across it, shifting from one hue to another and following the underlying geometry of the form. These continuous transitions interact with transparent layers and overlapping trajectories, becoming an integral part of the structure itself. Color does not simply occupy the form; it transforms along with it. Each composition emerges from the same underlying mathematical system, while small variations in its parameters can produce entirely different structures. The process allows forms to emerge without being explicitly drawn, while the gradient introduces an additional dimension of transformation within each composition. Although each artwork is presented as a static image, what we see is the accumulated result of an extensive computational process: countless individual trajectories converging, overlapping, and transforming until they form a single structure. Each artwork is generated in real time using pure JavaScript, with no external libraries. Fernando Cabral X: @fernandodevv
