TRUXS is a 66 piece photography project created during four weeks spent in Mexico City at the beginning of 2026. A daily routine became a photographic system: the same walk, the same crossing, the same phone and the same Action Pan movement, followed by review and curation. Through repetition, timing and chance, the city returned 66 frames. "Generative art is art that emerges from a system. The system doesn’t have to be code. It just has to be a set of rules." - generative artist Jeff Davis, quoted by Justin Wetch in an essay on Dave Krugman for 24 Hours of Art. For TRUXS, that system consists of the preparation, execution and revision of each shooting session. Photography as a generative practice. TRANSPARENCY NOTE A small number of "Allowlist phase" mints, no more than 5% of the collection, may appear as free mints during Foundry’s first phase. These are not giveaways: the collectors paid the full mint price in advance via BTC, and I will mint on their behalf because they are unable to complete the process themselves. Every collector in the original mint phase paid the same price UPDATE Following a holder snapshot on July 29th 2026, one additional TRUXS was sent to each of the 16 existing collectors, while two further pieces were reserved for giveaways. The remaining 32 TRUXS were then reopened at a final mint price of 0.00038 BTC until August 2nd. Early collectors remain rewarded: their original 0.00066 BTC mint now corresponds to two TRUXS, an effective price of 0.00033 BTC each.
